Server Requirements
GEE Whiz 1.4.x for GWIA/NMAP is compatible with GroupWise and NetMail running on Novell NetWare:
- Novell NetWare is required for GEE Whiz 1.4.x. (GroupWise and NetMail can be running on any of the supported GroupWise operating systems: NetWare, OES, SUSE Linux, Microsoft Windows NT Server, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Servers)
Server hardware requirements:
- 10 MB of space to install GEE Whiz
- Recommend a minimum of 100 MB of disk space if message quarantines are used and if the Bayesian Classifier has a large corpus of SPAM and HAM available to be analysed.
Server access rights/permissions:
- The GEE Whiz user must have RWCEFM rights to the directories that are used for anti-virus scanning.
Anti-virus software requirements:
- GEE Whiz works in conjunction with your preferred NLM-based anti-virus software. The anti-virus software must be configured to delete or purge attachments that are infected.
Workstation Requirements
- GEE Whiz requires a browser for configuration and management
- Linux: Firefox and equivalent Mozilla-based browsers
- Windows: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later; Netscape Navigator* 4.5 or later, Firefox
