According to our Survey. We have a winner! And a winner! And a winner! The first winner is… Brian Black (of Well Star Health System.) Congratulations Brian for winning the i-PAQ! With the power of mobility and so much information in the palm of your hands, you’ll have no excuses for missing any Tennessee Volunteer home games or picking the kids up at soccer practice. Turns out that Brian is a big fan of the team in orange in more ways than one. His comments were typical of what you all had to say and we appreciate that very much. "The people at the booth were great. Very informative and friendly. I really felt like my time was being well spent at your booth. Of all the mobile solutions represented I, along with my two coworkers that attended, were most impressed with what Omni has to offer" All the best Brian and thanks again for your participation. Thanks for Sharing Your Insights (and about 5,900 clicks of your time). We received an unbelievable response and some essential information that will allow us to focus on building the kind of rich-feature, value-enabled solutions you're looking for. Of the people who where contacted, 42% of you participated in the survey and gave us awesome feedback! As you may know 42% response is amazing given that the industry standard for surveys is below 5% participation. So thanks! A great show with great people is what BrainShare is all about and is best summarized in another quote that was typical of our responses. "I love BrainShare. Great chance to collaborate with others who use the best networking software out there." The Winner of all Tradeshows. The Wonder of it All. The winner of all tradeshows is clearly BrainShare and all of the great technology and people at the show. 55% of you thought that BrainShare 2005 was awesome, wow and another 44 % thought that it was good and what they expected. The comments we received where all very positive an enthusiastic. People where consistently saying how much they loved it and some were even "completely blown away by the experience of it all" and would love to come again next year. Great job Novell for another show well done! Here are some other things we found out. 81% of the survey participants are the cool cats who get to write the code, manage the network, keep all the pieces working and love 001101001101001. Almost 40% of you have Mobility on the brain and 63% percent think that Novell Linux Desktop has a future. One person said "Love what Novell is doing with Linux." Some of you are also clearly excited by what Omni had done with the Novell Linux Desktop operating system with several comments indicating that our Desktop Multiplier for Novell Linux Desktop solution may become a real driver for the uptake of the Novell Linux Desktop. "The most intriguing portion of the Linux desktop is the way Omni can multiply one workstation into 10 which ties nicely into some things I am trying to do." Although many of you thought that Novell's new "Open, Secure, Global" brand positioning and business strategy is a well balanced promise that is exciting and easy to understand, 54% thought that they should crank up the ho hum factor. May we suggest that a bit of bright orange may do the trick? 98% Bright Orange. 100% Committed Despite the fact that all of our team was dressed in "battery powered" bright orange shirts, 98% of you thought that the credibility, level of professionalism and message of our organization was great to excellent. We are encouraged by the feedback and are 100% committed to move forward with your needs in mind. "Aldo and the Omni Team, it's great to see y'all growing and expanding. Keep up the good work. I have recommended several of your solutions to my boss!" So thanks again for your participation. You're all winners for helping out one of Alberta's fastest growing SMB's and for that we promise that even though you're all crazy about the color orange - we will never, ever, give away an orange PDA. We'll leave that up to Steven Jobs! - (another great Linux story) |
