Job Description

Position Objective


As a Canadian-based company with a global footprint, Omni is looking for a sales professional who has a strong track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales targets by prospecting and qualifying business opportunities. You will work closely with Omni's CEO to develop business development strategies, participate in international trade shows, follow up with potential customers and manage our global network of channel partners.

Responsibilities


  • Meet and/or exceed revenue targets by prospecting and qualifying business opportunities
  • Develop and apply proven consultative selling techniques
  • Manage customer communications to ensure their needs are met
  • Lead the expansion of Omni's existing global sales channel
  • Act as a company advocate and demonstrate a passion for technology and customer service
  • Recruit, train and manage high-performing Novell solutions providers
  • Generate and follow up on leads from customers in the Americas regions

Required Skills and Experience


  • Five years' experience in a senior sales position
  • Familiarity with Novell technology solutions
  • Passion for technology and helping people and companies be successful
  • BA or Marketing degree. MBA preferred
  • Proactive, results-oriented, self-starter with demonstrated sales ability
  • Fluency in German or Spanish an asset
  • Ability to travel in North American and Europe
  • Strong communicator and team player
