Position Objective
With the release of eControl 3.6, Omni is looking to add a team of sales professionals who have a strong track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales targets by prospecting and qualifying business opportunities in the identity management space. You will work closely with Omni's CEO and other team members to implement business development strategies, participate in local trade shows and follow up with potential customers.
Responsibilities
- Meet and/or exceed revenue targets by prospecting and qualifying business opportunities
- Apply proven consultative selling techniques
- Manage customer communications to ensure their needs are met
- Participate in the expansion of Omni's sales channel
- Act as a company advocate and demonstrate a passion for technology and customer service
- Prospect and follow up on leads from customers in the region
Required Skills and Experience
- Five years' experience in a senior sales position related to IT sales or professional or consulting services
- Experience working for technology partners or resellers (Microsoft, Oracle, Novell, CA, IBM, Telus, Bell, etc.)
- Experience with IT Account Management, Identity Management, Risk or Security Management or other enterprise software solutions
- A team player, able to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Strong sense of urgency, independence and organisational skills
- Possesses strong relationship skills, ability to hunt and create new opportunities
- Passion for technology and helping people and companies be successful
- University and/or other Post-secondary degree preferred
- Proactive, results-oriented, self-starter with demonstrated sales ability
- Fluency in Spanish an asset
- Ability to travel in North American
- Strong Rolodex of business contacts
