- Riva Desktop Edition (single account): Riva Desktop Edition is a synchronisation application that runs on a desktop. Each instance synchronises a single account. You can run multiple instances on the same desktop to synchronise multiple accounts. Nothing is installed on your servers. Riva Desktop Edition is the preferred option for companies that want to synchronise fewer than 10 accounts.
- Riva Enterprise Edition (multiple accounts): Riva Enterprise Edition runs as a central synchronisation service for multiple accounts. Riva Enterprise Edition leverages the GroupWise Trusted Application architecture to allow a single instance of Riva to synchronise multiple accounts.
