Q: What is Riva Integration Server for Exchange and GroupWise?
A: Omni developed Riva to deliver server-to-server, transparent, bi-directional synchronisation of appointments, phone calls, tasks, notes and address books between Exchange or GroupWise and the leading CRMs including: SugarCRM, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft SharePoint, SAP CRM, GoldMine, Saleslogix, Oracle CRM On Demand, Salesforce and other CRMs and LOB applications.
Q: How does Riva work?
A: Riva delivers bi-directional synhcronisation of appointments, phone calls, tasks and address books between Exchange or GroupWise and the supported CRMs - without any PLUG-INS required. Because Riva's synchronisation is direct server-to-server, Riva is compatible with ALL Exchange and GroupWise desktop clients including Outlook, Outlook Web Access, Entourage for Mac, Mac Snow Leopard iCal, Address Book and Mail. Riva supports all Exchange and GroupWise mobile clients including iPhone, BlackBerry and ActiveSync devices without installing any applications on the mobile devices.
Q: How does licensing work?

A: Omni currently supports the leading CRMs. We add new CRM support based on customer demand. Q: Does Riva provide email archiving to the CRM?
A: Yes, Riva supports archiving emails from all Exchange and GroupWise email clients to the target CRM. Emails can be assigned to a contact, a specific opportunity, a specific case or other types of supported CRM objects. Q: How do I synchronise CRM data to my mobile device using Riva?
A: Because Riva synchronises CRM data directly to your Exchange or GroupWise server, all mobile clients are automatically supported for bi-directional synchronisation of address books, calendars and tasks. You have full mobile access to opportunities, cases, quotes and the advanced email archiving provided by SmartConvert, AssignTo and ConnectBar. Tasks marked as completed on your mobile GroupWise client are synchronised to the target CRM.
Q: What items does Riva synchronise?
A: Riva provides bi-directional synchronisation of appointments, phone calls, tasks, contacts, and organisations. It also provides direct access to email archiving and CRM service requests, cases, quotes and opportunities through Riva SmartConvert, AssignTo and ConnectBar.
Q: What versions of Riva are available?
A: There are three versions of Riva: Live, On Premise and Hosted. Riva Live provides CRM synchronisation as SaaS. You sign up for a Riva Live account and the synchronisation happens in the cloud. Riva On Premise is installed on a workstation/server in your environment and provides synchronisation of multiple accounts from a single installation. Riva Hosted will be availble for CRM or email hosting partners who want to provide Riva as a hosted service to their customers.
