Hi folks, in light of the abend issue with NetShield and GEEWhiz on the same box, I would like to have GEEWhiz use a directory on a different server. Is this possible. The reason I want to do this, is to have the NetShield on the other server scan the files for viruses (virii ??).

It looks like I would only want to move the /grpwise/domain/WPGATE/GWIA/GEE_WORK/ directory. Opinions on this?

GEE Whiz will do cross-server stuff. However, the GEE_WORK directory needs to be on the same volume as the GWIA | GWIA/THIRD directories.

I`ll start looking into the McAfee problem later today, perhaps I can solve the problem for you guys.

So if I can set my GWIA THIRD to a different server, I should be all set?

You`ll have to get GWIA to do all it`s stuff on that directory as well...

Then you`ll have to either manually edit your OPTIONS.DAT file, or reinstall GEE to reflect the changes with the GWIA.CFG.
