Hi Guys

We`ve got two systems running checks here, one is MTASieve (yep, the good old before the money grubbing guys got involved) and Gee Whiz.
We`ve enabled filtering on both systems (thank god) and now we`re all of the sudden beginning to receive messages from MTASieve that it has stopped an attachment.
In our setup that`s impossible if Gee Whiz works, as they have the exact same extensions they filter on.

We have
Disable Apply list
Enabled FileType Filtering (Filter Executable Files, Windows Related Files)
Enabled FileName Filtering: *.BAT$,*.LNK$,*.PIF$,*.SHS$,*.ADE$,*.ADP$,*.BAS$,*.CHM$,*.CMD$,*.CPL$,*.CRT$,*.HTA,,*.INF$,*.INS$,*.ISP$,*.JS$,*.JSE$,*.MDB$,*.MDE$,*.MSC$,*.MSI$,*.MSP$,*.MST$,*.PCD$,*,REG$,*.SCT$,*.SHB$,*.URL$,*.VB$,*.VBE$,*.WSC$,*.WSF$,*.WSH$,*.RAR$,PRESTIG.ZIP$,,,DLL$,*.OCX$,*.CPL$,*.QTX$,*.RES$,*.CUR$

But it doesn`t filter eg. exe files.

Any ideas?

Yours
Kenneth

Are you seperating them by commas? or by newlines?

By newlines.

But apart from that, it shouldn`t be possible for .exe`s to get by, when I`ve marked those in the `File-Type Filtering` setting.

Yes, that`s very peculiar.

Can you zip up your entire GEE directory (minus logs if those are huge) and email it to me? I`ll run it through a few tests here and see if I can replicate your problem.

Thanks.
