I`m just trying out the 30-day eval of GEE-Whiz version 1.3.1b and so far it looks pretty damn good. I`ve noticed, however, that every 10 minutes I see the following entries in the logfiles:

Threads Shutdown.
Starting up threads...
Threads started.
Licensing information saved.

Can someone explain what this is doing and if it`s a problem or not?

Hi Matthew,

GEE shuts down all of it`s threads before saving out licensing information. It will then resume the threads once the license information is saved.

This is not a problem, it is the intended behavior.
