Hi, I'm running GW 6.5.4 on NW 6.5.2. I'm unable to get the admin properties for the designated admin user. The user properties appear without the admin porperties.

I've modified the omnimobile.properties page to enable admin.userId, activation.email and authorized.users.

Thanks

Please confirm whether there was a "-" in the admin name.  For example,  .admin.gw-po.gw-dom   A bug was discovered that had a problem allowing admin names with "-" in them to be properly registered.

The current release fixes that problem.

I just installed the OmniMobile, and I'm having the same problem described by Warren... The administrator account I defined during installation is not shown with the admin properties...

Hello, David.

Please be certain that during installation you are specifying the full admin user name eg.  admin.GWPO.GWDOM.

There is no dot required in the user name (ie .admin.GWPO.GWDOM is not correct).

If you are sure you have specified the admin user correctly and that is the user you are logging in with and that there are no Omni Mobile administration functions,  please contact support and we will take a closer look at your configuration.

Since I've upgraded to versioin 2.1.0.9 this morning I seem to have the same problem.

Only thing I can imagine is that I didn't use uppercase karakters where GroupWise in fact does.

I used: rve000.po_tegelen.dom_t
In eDir: rve000.po_tegelen.DOM_T could this be the problem?

First thing I did was:
Stop Tomcat, edit the omnimobile.properties file:

# ~~ activation email properties ~~
admin.userId = rve000.po_tegelen.DOM_T

Start Tomcat

That didn't do it.

I don't use the leading dot like in full context names are used. (Although I saw that your developers built in a check for this leading dot and remove it if present)

Overthinking all of the above...

Does the 'omni mobile administrator' need administrative rights on the webaccess server??

Hello, Rogier.

No, the "Omni Mobile Administrator" account does not require any administrative rights in GroupWise, eDirectory or the file system.  When you define the Omni Mobile administration account, the Omni Mobile server module assigns the "administration" template to be available when that account logs into Omni Mobile.  The administration template provides the additional fields and options in the WebAccess interface to administer the system.

The login name is case sensitive.  Yes, there is no leading dot.  :-).  We will have that graphic fixed.  Please change your adminitration account information to:  rve000.PO_TEGELEN.DOM_T and let me know if that resolves the problem.

Regards,

Aldo

Changing administration account to:

RVE000.PO_TEGELEN.DOM_T aswel as

rve000.PO_TEGELEN.DOM_T aswel as

rve000.po_tegelen.DOM_T (which is the right one) does not work.
