This utility addresses the problem discussed here by removing a number of OpenNetCF registry entries:

To install this application:
1. Download the zip file attached to this post
2. Extract the contents of the zip file
3. Copy the OpenNetCF-Unregister_PPC.ARMV4.CAB file found in the extracted contents onto the device. ("\Program Files\Temp" for example)
4. Via the device, navigate to the OpenNetCF-Unregister_PPC.ARMV4.CAB file and click it to initiate the install process
5. Click Start-> Programs -> Unregister OpenNet to run the utility
6. Click the "Unregister OpenNet" button. The utility should automatically close
