Question from Customer:

I run Windows 2000 Pro desktop with Groupwise 6.5. Can I sync my Smartphone I-mate SP3i running win mobile 2003SE?

Answer:

The version of desktop OS does not matter for the Omni Mobile client for GroupWise.  The client can be installed from Windows 2000, XP, Linux or Macintosh desktops that have the appropriate software to link to the phone.

We have checked the specifications for the I-mate SP3i and it appears to have the necessary RAM and Operating System requirements to be compatible with the Omni Mobile client for GroupWise PDA synchronization. However, we have not specifically tested this device nor do we have any of these devices being tested by our beta testers.

The only question that we have regarding the I-mate is whether it has a touch screen. If the answer is yes, then we are 100% sure Omni Mobile will work fine with your device. If it does not have a touch screen that can be controlled with a stylus, then the current release of Omni Mobile for GroupWise PDA Synchronization will not work with your device.
