Our G Whiz application appears to have stopped running 6 times in the past 24 hours.  The screen freezes, it does not respond to an F7 and will not stop when entering an unload GEE at the Novell Console.  The other apps appears to be just fine and Utilization is around 2%.  Every time this occurs I always see this in the log.    09/16/2005 01:55:56 : (7262A234.936) GEE detected a potential spam message. (12.1/4.1) 09/16/2005 01:56:02 : Saving out licensing information, this may take a few seconds...09/16/2005 01:56:02 : Shutting down gwia handler...

How can we tell if GEE Whiz is really alive or dead at that moment?  We have waited 25 minutes and nothing is being logged and the screen stays the same.  Why does it attempt to shut down the gwia handler?  Is this a normal thing?

If G Whiz is really frozen, what other things can we research in order to find out why it froze up?

Can you forward the emails that are being processed right before you get the shut down message to me? That way I can test to see if its a malformed email that is causing the problem.
