In order to ensure Omni Mobile's optimal performance with the Treo 650,  it is recommended that all Treo 650 users update their devices to the latest firmware versions that Palm has released.

To determine the firmware version of your Treo 650, you have to go to the dialing screen on the phone by pressing the green call button and tap the top of the screen and then tap options.  Tap the phone info link and make note of the Firmware and Software versions.

The Palm firmware upgrade file can be found at http://www.palm.com/us/support/

Look for the 'Treo 650 Updater' file after selecting your specific device/provider combination from the support page.  The Software version currently available for each provider may be different, or there may be no updater available.  For unlocked GSM models the version is 1.13 but for a verizon Treo 650 the version is 1.04.

Follow the installation instructions provided on the Palm site carefully as updating firmware can be problematic if the process is interrupted.

If your Palm Treo 650 is resetting all the time,  you can certainly try to update it using the latest firmware from Palm.  I cannot guarantee that will fix your problem though.

Is this problem related to Omni Mobile?  Does it continue if you do a hard reset of the device?  Hard reset instructions can be found here but be sure you have backed up any essential data on the device (if that is possible with your resetting issue)  -

If this problem persists,  please contact your vendor for further advice.
