Problem:

Customers are reporting that they install Omni Mobile on NetWare running WebAccess 6.5 and when they attempt to access WebAccess they see a large white area in the left margin with "Compile error on "Caption.htt" and "features.htt" files".

Resolution:

This is a known problem.  Omni Mobile 1.x and 2.x experience difficulties using the web application merge files (caption.htt and features.htt) on servers running WebAccess Application server 6.5.0 or 6.5.1.  The easiest way to determine which version is to examine the title bar of the WebAccess Agent server console.

The fastest way to correct the problem is to upgrade WebAccess Application server to 6.5.2 or higher.  You will need to uninstall Omni Mobile, then upgrade WebAccess Application server and install Omni Mobile.  Please refer to "How to Upgrade Omni Mobile or GroupWise WebAccess with Omni Mobile Installed" starting on page 49 in the Omni Mobile Admin Guide.

Please contact Omni Support at +1-780-423-4200 or email support@omni-ts.com if WebAccess cannot be upgraded and the problem needs to be resolved.
