Problem:
Customers have reported that their WebAccess page is all white after Omni Mobile is installed.
Resolution:
There are three common instances when this can occur:
- The user can login to WebAccess but sees an all white page after authenticating. This is caused by an error in the web.xml file resulting from running the Omni Mobile installer two or more times without running the Uninstaller.jar file.
- The user sees an all white screen when attempting to open the WebAccess page, e.g. http://mail.mycompany.com/gw/webacc. This is typically caused by specifying the incorrect information when applying for the trial license file.
- The user sees an all white screen below the WebAccess tab or in the Omni Mobile detail page when the Omni Mobile icon is selected. This is typically caused by the incorrect path to the webacc.cfg being selected during the Omni Mobile server installation. Confirm the webacc.cfg path by looking at the paths in the WEB-INF\web.xmlfile. You may have to uninstall and reinstall Omni Mobile server using the correct path to the webacc.cfg file.
Issues have also been reported that are related to performing an upgrade to WebAccess without uninstalling Omni Mobile first.
