When the phone goes to sleep "so to speak", Omni-mobile does not sync the mailbox as is configured every 5 minutes. Is there a way to force the client to wake up the phone and do the sync?

Hello, Martin.

You have identified one of the known limitations of the single-threaded nature of the Palm OS.  We are working on an option that will cause Palm OS-based phones to "wake-up" every five minutes to check for new mail. The current release requires Omni Mobile to be the active application on the Palm OS in order for the scheduled synchronization to occur. 

However, that option will not be available until after Omni Mobile for Nokia Series 60 and BlackBerry devices is available.
