How to Fix License Challenges

First, you should read "How does Licensing Work" to get an understanding how device licensing works.

The steps to correct the known licensing challenges are described in the following sections of the Omni Mobile Admin Guide:
  • "How to Update the Omni Mobile License File" is used when you get a replacement "license.key" file.

  • "How to Fix the Lack of a License.key File" is used if the Omni Mobile server was installed without a "license.key" file.

  • "How to Fix an Expired Trial License.key File" is used when your trial license has expired and you need to upgrade to a full license.

  • "How to Fix an Invalid License.key File" is used when the details in your license file does not match the server Omni Mobile is installed onto.
If you see an "Could not invoke action method!" error, you will have to use the steps detailed in "Option 2 - How to Manually Update the Omni Mobile Licence File".
