Question:  What should I do if I need to patch or upgrade my server or GroupWise WebAccess?

Answers:
  1. Server Patching will not normally affect the Omni Mobile server, except if patching would break GroupWise WebAccess.  If the patch will affect WebAccess, then you should uninstall the Omni Mobile server before applying the patch. Reinstall the Omni Mobile server again once all patches have been applied.

  2. WebAccess Patches will always affect the Omni Mobile server. You must uninstall the Omni Mobile server before applying a GroupWise WebAccess patch or upgrading the WebAccess Application server.  Once the patch or upgrade is finished, reinstall the Omni Mobile server.
Steps for performing the uninstall and reinstall of the Omni Mobile server are contained in the "How to Upgrade Omni Mobile or GroupWise WebAccess with Omni Mobile Installed" in the Omni Mobile Admin Guide.
