JUST RELEASED - CCU Holiday and Festival Resource Files - 2007 & 2008
We have been working hard to update resource files for the CCU
and CCUweb. Both of these products can use resource input data
.csv files to update calendars with standard date items like
holidays or festivals. In the past CCU had approximately a
dozen countries in the resource file set.
We have just released resource file sets for CCU that
includes 51 countries for 2007 and 2008:
Argentia, Australia, Austria
Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Bulgaria
Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic
Denmark
Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia
Finland, France
Germany, Greece
Hong Kong, Hungary
India, Ireland, Israel, Italy
Japan
Mexico
Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway
Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal
Russia
Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea,
Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
Taiwan, Turkey
United Arab Emirates, UK, USA
Venezuela
These file sets are available for download in .ZIP format from http://www.omni-ts.com/download/gw-ccu.html.
Individual CSV files to add calendar items using CCU are contained
in the "Add" folder as saved as Default_<Country>.CSV
(e.g. Default_Canada.csv). The corresponding files to remove
the calendar items are contained in the "Delete" folder and are
saved as Default_<Country>Del.CSV.
Creating these resource files took considerable time. These files
were built using calendar information from www.wikipedia.org as
the primary source, plus cross checking with www.planetware.com
and other individual web sites when dates were difficult to
determine. As can be imagined, there is a chance for inaccurate
dates considering we cross-referenced between Gregorian, Julien,
Muslim, Chinese Lunar and Solar calendars.
If you find an incorrect date, please email the correction to
support@omni-ts.com and we will update the file set.
