Problem: Users report that their devices are getting a "90006 All licenses have been used" error on their Omni Mobile client. When the administrator checks the licence count, licences are still available.
Cause: The Omni Mobile server installs with a default limit of one device per user. This prevents users from installing Omni Mobile on multiple devices and using licences without approval. When the Omni Mobile client is installed on a second device for a single user and it attempts to connect to the Omni Mobile server, the server will report it as a "90006 All licenses have been used" error.
Resolution: There are two options to resolve this error condition:
- OPTION 1 - login into WebAccess as the Omni Mobile administrator, access the "Omni Mobile" > "General" > "System" page and change "Unlimited Devices per User" to be "Yes" and click the "Update" button. This will enable unlimited devices for every user,
OR
- OPTION 2 - login into WebAccess as the Omni Mobile administrator, access the "Omni Mobile" > "General" > "System" page, find the user in the Authorized User List and indicate the number of permitted devices in () brackets, e.g. change user gordon to read gordon(2) to enable two devices for the user "gordon". Click the "Update" button to enforce the change.
See "How to Control Devices per User" in the "Omni Mobile Admin Guide" for more details.
