There seems to be a strange issue with the issue 2.4 Client on SE (P910i) Devices. I can't speak, we experienced this on the P910i, perhaps it also appears on the P800/P900 devices. Be warned!

A customer, due to inability by the famous dutch ISP XS4ALL to fix a DNS A/CNAME record issue, needs to access the GW Webaccess server by its IP address. So 'http://<Public IP Address>/servlet/webacc'.

It turned out the P910i's upgraded to the new 2.4 client were not able to access the Omni Mobile server anymore. 1 client at the customer remained (because that user was almost never in the office) on the 2.230 client, and was the only one that could sync.
The failure message on the 2.4 clients (90017) indicated that those devices where not able to 'snoop' from the license pile.
But it turned out that this had nothing at all to do with the issue.
It looks like that due to the fact that it cannot access the OM Server by it 'IP Url', the next step -snooping from the license- couldn't take place. So not the license issue was the problem but the unability to read an IP Url.

Reverting to the 2.230 client on the upgraded devices reestablished the syncin' process.

Perhaps support can have a look at this?

Was the IP address provided in the license file? All addresses (both DSN and IP) that are required to communicate need to be provided to Omni-TS for creating the license file.
