New releases of Riva are made public in the following places:
Riva will always be released as riva.zip. To register to receive the download link for this version, go to:  Refer to the Riva website for the latest change log.

Riva includes a Check for Updates function which permits you to upgrade Riva from our online upgrade server.  Steps for performing the update to an existing Riva installation are:
  1. Launch Riva.
  2. Double-click the Riva icon in the top-left corner of the Riva application and make note of the version number in the "About Riva" window.  Click OK.
  3. Click Check for Updates.
  4. In the "Internet Connection" window click Yes.
  5. If an "Update Available" window opens, click Yes.
  6. In the "Download Successful" window click OK.
  7. Close and re-launch Riva.
  8. Double-click the Riva icon in the top-left corner of the Riva application and verify that the version number has changed to reflect the version displayed in the "Update Available" window (step 5).  Click OK.
