Question: When I double-click on the RivaApp.exe shortcut or the application icon, Riva will not start. How can I fix this?

Answer: This problem occurs when system requirements are not being met:

You are attempting to run Riva from a network location using a mapped drive or UNC path. Riva must be installed locally on the computer running Riva.
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Redistributable Package is not installed on the computer running Riva. Download and install the dotnetfix.exe file from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=085 6EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en
a suitable GroupWise client is not installed on the computer running Riva. Check to confirm that a GroupWise client 6.5.2 or higher is installed.
