Problem: Customer reported that importing/creating users using EMU was taking approximately 3 minutes per account. eDirectroy was being hosted on NetWare 6.5 servers.

Cause: It appears that the problem was the KMO and SSL Security objects were corrupt.

Resolution: The system administrator ran PKIDIAG.NLM with options 4, 5, and 0 on the problem servers. This repaired the KMO and SSL objects and resolved the issue. You can refer to Novell TID 10095905 for information on using PKIDIAG.NLM and PKIDIAG architecture.

Resolution for eDirectory on Linux/Windows Servers: There is no comparable PKIDIAG for Linux (OES/SLES) or Windows servers. Novell recommends using a PKI plug-in in iManager. Refer to Novell TID 5003021 for additional information.
