The Riva (release 1.0.3) Managed Signatures module requires a minimum of GroupWise 7.0.2 with SOAP enabled on the destination post offices.

NEW RIVA INSTALLATION

If this is a new Riva installation and the target GroupWise systems are 7.0 or higher, Riva will configure a SOAP connector to TCP Port 7191 by default for each GroupWise 7.x Post Office that it detects.

EXISTING (PRE 1.0.3) INSTALLATION

If this is an existing Riva installation (pre 1.0.3), you will need to configure the appropriate post offices with the Riva SOAP connector.  SOAP must be enabled on the destination post offices whose signatures will be managed.  On each destination post office, carry out the following steps in Riva:

  1. In the Setup Tab, double-click the Post Office.
  2. Select the Connection Targets tab.
  3. Highlight "Add New Target".
  4. Enter the IP address and SOAP port value (7191 by default)
  5. Select "client-soap" in the drop-down box and select Update.
  6. High-light the "client-soap" connection, select "Test the Connection Target" and enter a valid user name for that post office.
  7. If configured properly, a successful connection will be returned.
