Reporting eControl Issues

If you experience a problem with your eControl server installation, please follow these steps:

  1. Make screen shots of the error that is visible in the browser or in the eControl Admin program.
  2. Run the "Econtrol Auditor" application (\eControl\Tools\eControlAuditor.exe) to produce audit logs of actions recently taken.  Log files will be saved to \eControl\Logs.
  3. Call Omni Technical Support at +1.780.423.4200 or email support@omni-ts.com and attach the above files (screen shots and log files), and include the following information:

  1. Browser being used - e.g. IE7, FireFox 2.5.1 
  2. eControl release - e.g. 2.5 
  3. Web server and Hostingb Server - e.g. IIS 5 on Windows 2000 SP 4 
  4. Error messages observed
  5. Description of problem
