Latest Release.  We are pleased to announce the latest release 3.5.2.8118 (2010.08.12) of eControl.  Please use this link to register for a 15-day trial evaluation of eControl.

eControl Provides - a web-based user account and identity management system with special features designed to empower non-IT staff with the ability to manage users without requiring SUPERVISOR rights on your servers!

In this Release.  Please refer to the release notice and change logs for the details of recent eControl releases.

User Account Management Solutions - this release of eControl allows your Help Desk Operators and Junior Network Administrators to support multiple or mixed networks from a single browser interface: Novell eDirectory, GroupWise, Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange email systems.  Refer to the following for more details:
Documentation:  eControl documentation includes:
Test Drive:  Omni has a Live Online eControl Demo that will enable you to experience the eControl browser interface as a full administrative user and as a limited help desk operator.

Installation:  eControl has an installer that can be downloaded.  Customers can request installation from Omni support staff.  eControl installation, configuration and training services are provided using LogMeIn or TechInLine for remote installation.  Please refer to the following information to prepare your environment for a 15-day trial remote installation:
Upgrade eControl 2.5 to latest release:  Current eControl 2.5 customers with current support contracts must request an upgrade to the latest release of eControl 3 as soon as possible.  All support for eControl 2.5 will cease in the near future.  Upgrades must be performed by an Omni support staff member.  Please contact Omni technical support to schedule an upgrade.

Licensing and Pricing:  eControl server module license includes full-service installation. eControl modules are licensed per user per module.  Please contact us to request eControl pricing information.

Purchasing eControl:  eControl can be ordered by contacting our sales staff.  Payment can be made with a Purchase Order, Credit Card, Bank Draft or cheque.  Purchase Orders can be faxed to us at +1.780-423-4711.

Support for eControl:  eControl purchases include one year of software upgrade protection and support, server installation and initial configuration and administration training.  Additional upgrade protection and support is available at 30% of the purchase price, renewable annually.
