eControl has two sets of licences:
  • eControl Server license:  Each installed instance of the eControl server requires a unique license.
  • eControl Module licenses:  Each module is licensed based on the number of users that are eligible to be managed by that specific module.
eControl licences include 30 days of technical support and software upgrade protection.  Additional support contracts can be purchased for 30% of the original purchase price.  We highly recommend purchasing the annual support contract as this ensures that you can receive technical and developer support and that you will be able to upgrade to the latest versions when changes are made to support new releases or patches for Novell eDirectory, GroupWise and Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange.

If additional user licences are purchased throughout the year, annual support contracts are prorated for the remainder of the support contract that is in effect.  This ensures that the support contract will be renewable on the same date for all licences, regardless of when they are purchased throughout the year.

If you have additional questions, contact Omni License Support at 780-423-4200.
