Question:  If a new release of eControl becomes available, how can I get the eControl server upgraded to the latest releaase?

Answer:  That depends on the version of eControl currently deployed in the environment:
  • for eControl 2.5 - this requires an upgrade to eControl 3.x and must be performed by Omni technical support staff.  Please complete a "Contact Us" form.  Someone will contact you to schedule the upgrade installation.  Please refer to "How to Upgrade eControl 2.5"

  • for eControl 3 - administrators can update to the latest public release.  Please refer to the new "How-to Update eControl 3".
