Question:  A customer asked:

Quote:
I have been evaluating your Shared Folder Reporting in Groupwise. I have looked for documentation regarding the difference between Incoming versus Outgoing, but have been unable to find an explaination.

Can you explain what and/or give an example of what is considered Incoming and Outgoing?

Answer:  Thank you for your interest in Riva's Shared Folder report.  An Incoming Folder is a folder that has been shared with you by someone else.  This is represented in GroupWise by the red user icon on the bottom right of a shared folder.

An Outgoing Folder is a folder that you have shared with other accounts.  This is represented in GroupWise by the blue user icon on the bottom left of a shared folder.

So, with the report, an Incoming Folder has been shared with the account.  An Outgoing Folder was shared out by the account.

I look forward to answering any other questions you might have about Riva Managed Policies and Reports.  I draw to your attention the Riva Value-Pack Promotion that is valid to February 15, 2008.  Information is available at:  www.omni-ts.com/newsroom/value-pack.html

Best regards,

Aldo
