Question:  We are changing CRM solutions.  How can I change my CRM connection settings in Riva CRM Desktop Edition?

Answer:  If your GroupWise or CRM connections change, you will need to remove the existing connections and add new connections.
  1. Click the remove link beside the applicable connection in the "Setup" tab.
  2. In the "Delete connection?" window, click Yes.
  3. Click the configure connection link for the "GroupWise Connection" or the "Target Connection" (for the CRM connection).
  4. For a GroupWise Connection, click Next >, fill in the User ID, Password, DNS name or IP Address of the user's Post Office, and click Next > and Finish.
  5. For a CRM Target Connection, select the applicable CRM system and click OK.  Complete the required information, click Next > and Finish.
  6. IMPORTANT - From the main menu, choose Re-Sync and select With New Settings, and choose Yes(This will reinitialize Riva Desktop Edition to use the new connection settings and resync items from CRM into GroupWise.)
To change connection passwords, please refer to "How to modify connection passwords".
