Question:  How do I install and update CCUweb to version 2.5.23.

Answer:  The ccuweb.zip download file includes the CCUweb installer file (ccuweb-installer.exe) and a CCUweb upgrade file (ccuweb.exe).  After installed CCUweb version 2.5.21, you will copy the upgrade file to replace ccuweb.exe and upgrade it to version 2.5.23:
  1. Ensure that your Windows computer meets the system requirements.
  2. Download and extract the ccuweb.zip download file.  If you do not have the file, request the 30-day trial download.
  3. Run the ccuweb-install.exe installer file.  This will install CCUweb to "c:\Program Files\Omni\ccuweb".
  4. Copy the ccuweb.exe file from the ccuweb.zip file to "c:\Program Files\Omni\ccuweb" and overwrite the existing ccuweb.exe file. (This upgrades from version 2.5.21 to 2.5.23.)
  5. Run CCUweb from "start" > "Programs" > "Omni" > "CCUweb 2.5". If you run CCUweb without a license file, it will run in demo mode.  Demo mode is limited to four source accounts and only uses the first 20 calendar items.
  6. Contact Omni technical support at +1.780-423-4200 to request a trial license file which will be emailed to you.  To upgrade from the demo licence to the full licence, rename the license file you receive to "ccuweb.lic" and copy it to the "c:\Program Files\Omni\ccuweb" folder.

The "CCUweb Setup and User Guide" is available for download.  There is a series of flash-based CCUweb tutorials that demonstrate how to build simple and complex web calendar projects and host them on a web server.
