I am running Windows XP SP2 w/ Groupwise 7.0.2 on CCUweb 2.5.23

I created the account with my login, and had someone give me proxy access to their user id with read/write for all options.  When I enter that person's user ID in for proxy, it would crash upon testing the connection (and step 1 of creation of calendar).

This is what appears:

1st error

AppName: ccuweb.exe AppVer: 2.5.0.23 ModName: msvbvm60.dll

ModVer: 6.0.97.82 Offset: 001039ad

immediately followed by 2nd error

AppName: ccuweb.exe AppVer: 2.5.0.23 ModName: unknown

ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000000

Any thoughts?

EDIT:  I forgot to mention it works fine without trying to proxy into another account.  I can bring up my calendar fine.

Hello, Son.

Thank you for reporting this issue.  I am opening a case with the development team for this issue.

In the meantime, please refrain from using proxy access to build CCUweb calendars.  If you create a new account in the Master Account List with the username and password of the account you are attempting proxy access to, your calendar builds will work.

I'm having this same issue while trying to demo this product.

The work around will not help me because the account I'm proxying into is a Calendar Resource and not a user specific account so

I won't be able to login directly as that user.

Is their any fix for this.  This will prevent us from purchasing the product as all the Calendars we want to publish are Calendar resource accounts and not user accounts.

Hello, Ryan.

As discussed, the proxy account access method is CCUweb is not functioning properly.  CCUweb can use the login credentials of a GroupWise resource account provided a password has been assigned to the resource account.

To assign a password to a resource account:
  1. Login into a GroupWise client as the owner of the resource account.  Owner accounts have full proxy rights to resource accounts they own.
  2. Proxy into the resource account.
  3. Select Tools > Options > Security from the main menu and set the password.
  4. Restart the GroupWise client and login into the resource account using the login name and password (just assigned in setp 3.).
If you can login into the resource account using a GroupWise client, you will be able to use the same login name and password in CCUweb.
