Problem:  Customer reported that SOAP has been enabled on the post office (POA) that I have to manage signature. In Riva, when I click preview to view the signature, I get an error msg.

When the log file was examined, it was noted that there was a proxy authentication error.

Cause:  Riva Managed Signatures uses SOAP to provide the values for the individual signatures.  The customer reported that the previous error was because of the proxy settings in the internet explorer that wouldn't allow me to configure or test the soap client connection,

Resolution:  The customer included the server IP address in the exception list of the proxy settings for IE.  Previewing signatures now works.
