NOTICE:  Omni has discontinued support for Riva on Linux.  Contact Omni Support if you have any questions.

Riva's GroupWise Collaboration Integration Platform can be installed on Windows or SUSE Linux. 

Only those Riva Managed Policies, Applications or Reports that use the GroupWise SOAP API are available when running on Linux.  A number of Riva Managed Policies, Applications and Reports are not available on Linux because they were developed using the Object or Admin API.  These APIs are only available on the Windows platform.  With the release of GroupWise 8, we expect a number of the Object API-based Policies, Applications and Reports to be able to be ported to use the SOAP protocol and be available on Linux. 

Following is the list of Riva Managed Policies, Applications and Reports that are available with Riva running on Linux:

Managed Policies:
  • Managed Categories
  • Managed Rules
  • Address Book vCard Export
  • eDirectory Password Expiration Reminder
Managed Applications:
  • Managed Signatures
  • Event Monitor
Riva Reports:
  • eDirectory Account Audit Report
  • Rules Report
Riva CRM Integration for GroupWise:
Following are the Riva Managed Policies, Applications and Reports that are NOT supported by Linux and are therefore only available on Windows:

Managed Policies:
  • Address Book Clean-up    
  • Birthday Reminders    
  • Folder Create    
  • Managed Address Books    
  • Managed Calendars    
  • Managed Folders    
  • Managed Proxy Access   
Managed Applications:
  • Dynamic Distribution Lists    
  • Secure Distribution Lists    
  • Riva Event Monitor
Managed Reports:
  • GroupWise Archive Path Report
  • GroupWise Proxy Report    
  • Shared Address Books Report    
  • Shared Calendars Report    
  • Shared Folders Report
