Question:  I have CCUweb installed on a Windows XP computer and there are one or more CCUweb projects created with that installation.  How can I move that to a Windows Server?

Answer:  To move CCUweb to a different Windows host computer (PC or server) requires:
  1. Install CCUweb on the new host Windows computer.
  2. Copy the license file, CCUweb project files and calendar project folders from the current host to the new host.
Background:  The CCUweb license file on the current host PC is the critical component in this operation.  This license file contains the Master Account List that is used in every CCUweb project created and managed on the current host PC.  To transfer the CCUweb projects, you need to transfer the CCUweb license file and the project .WSP files to the new host PC.

Steps:
  1. On the new host computer install CCUweb.

  2. Copy the CCUweb.lic file from the current host computer to the new host computer.  The license file always located in the CCUweb installation folder, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Omni\CCUweb".

  3. Copy the CCUweb project .WSP files from the current host to the new host computer.  You should replicate the folder structure used on the current PC, on the new host computer, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Omni\CCUweb\projects".

  4. (Optional) Copy the folders containing the web calendar files resulting from a project build.  If you keep calendar files in child folders of C:\CCUweb-Calendars then copy the entire directory structure to the new host computer.

    OR

Run each calendar project and set a new folder location to save calendar files to.

  5. Uninstall CCUweb from the previous host computer.
