My problem is that I need to use calendars from accounts with blank passwords and CCUweb gives an error whenever I try to add new Master Account. (Please provide a PASSWORD for this GroupWise account.)
Is there a solution? (apart from adding passwords for these accounts, it is not an option..)
I'm using CCUweb 2.5.21 DEMO version.
Thank you!

Hello.
CCUweb requires the use of GroupWise user or resource accounts that have a password. Without a password, CCUweb is unable to authenticate into the GroupWise system and use the associated calendar data.
Password Resolution: If you are using a GroupWise user account, login to the GroupWise client as that user and change the password. From the main menu choose "Tools" > "Options" > "Security" > "Password". We suggest that you logout and login again as the user to confirm that the password works.
If you are using a GroupWise resource account, login to the GroupWise client as the GroupWise user that owns the resource. In the GroupWise client, proxy to the resource account and then use the same procedure as described above to add a password to the resource account. You should then be able to logout and login as the resource account using the new password.
Once passwords are set, CCUweb should be able to access calendar data and create web calendar pages.
Installed Version Resolution: The version of CCUweb that you are running is not the latest release. You should upgrade to release 2.5.23. Please complete step 5 on page 3 of the CCUweb Setup and User Guide. This will upgrade your CCUweb installation to the latest release.
You can refer to the CCUweb Setup and User Guide for additional details on configuring CCUweb. In addition, we have flash-based tutorials for create CCUweb calendar projects at CCUweb Quick Tour Videos.

Historically, the primary weakness in GroupWise security
has been with respect to password management. Administrators could
assign a password to a user account, but users could easily change those
passwords, making them blank or using simple passwords. There were no
controls (such as in NetWare) to specify password lengths or force
password changes. GroupWise provides two security levels at the Post
Office (PO): high and low, which are effectively modes to control access
to accounts without passwords.

Hello, Mark.
While GroupWise internal password management has been a challenge, there are several management strategies that can be employed:
- Lock out password changes in the GroupWise client ... this can be set at the Post Office level using ConsoleOne.
- Switch GroupWise authentication to use LDAP authentication against the existing LDAP server for either eDirectory (natively supported) or for Active Directory (requires an integration solution like Riva Identity Integration (GroupWise for Active Directory).
- Engage Single Sign-On (SSO) using Novel Modular Authentication System (NMAS). Using this strategy, you can enforce using the same complex user password for eDirectory and GroupWise.
