T E C H N I C A L    N O T E

The current release of Riva is a Windows 32-bit application.  Once the CRM Synchronization policy is configured, Riva will install a Windows service that acts as the Riva CRM Synchronization Agent.  It is recommended that Riva be installed on a strict accecss-controlled Windows computer or virtual machin (vm) that will remain running at all times to ensure that Riva CRM Synchronization Agent will run as scheduled..

R E C O M M E N D E D   B E S T   P R A C T I C E   S T E P S

The recommended best practice steps to install a configured Riva solution are:
  • STEP 1 - Install the Riva CRM Integration Server
  • STEP 2 - Setup the Riva Connection to the Target Exchange System
  • STEP 3 - Setup the Connection to the Target CRM System
  • STEP 4 - License Riva
  • STEP 5 - Create and Configure a CRM Integration Policy
  • STEP 6 - Install the Riva CRM Agent Service Monitor
  • STEP 7 - Run & Verify the Initial Synchronization
The installation and setup procedures are explained in the "Riva CRM Integration for Exchange Admin Guide".
