Hello,

the enviroment:

Salesforce <> Exchange 2007 with Outlook 2007 clients.
Synchronisation is scheduled every hour for contacts in
the addressbook "salesforce".

The problem:
If i move an existing contact in Outlook from my default
addressbook to the salesforce addressbook the contact
will never be synchronised to salesforce. In the Rivalog
is nothing to found about this contact. If i create a new
contact in the salesforce addressbook the contact is
synchronised to salesforce with the next run. Do i have a
misconfiguration? Is this behavior intended? Is there a
workaround?

Thanks,

Sven Kroll

Hello, Sven.

The best way to obtain support for Riva Integration Server for Exchange is to use the "Request Support" link in the Riva application menu bar.  Complete the form and include your contact details.  This will create a Case in our helpdesk system and upload your log files that are needed to troubleshoot your issue.

For your issue, moving a contact to the "Salesforce" address book is not the only task that is required, you also need to ensure that the "Salesforce" category is set for that contact.  Please try setting the category and submit a "Request Support" if you still encounter difficulties.
