GEE 1.4.8 is now available for download from the www.omni-ts.com. This is more than a maintenance release as it includes a complete code review, fixes to known bugs including several abend fixes, and a completely new set of documentation including a new Manual and a change log.

Also included is an updated HEADFILT.DAT (Header Filter) which includes many of the regex statements found in this Forum. You will also find a new ATTFILT.TXT (File-Name Filter) which includes regex statements from this Forum to combat many known virii attacks. There is also documentation explaining the filters and how to implement these files. We would like to thank all Forum participants whose efforts contributed to this download.

After receiving a few reports of problems with filters in the HEADFILT.DAT file included with 1.4.8, we removed several filters and rebuilt the .zip file. If you redownload 1.4.8, you will get the revised version of the HEADFILT.DAT file and the "Applying More Aggressive Filters to GEE Whiz" pdf file.
