GWmerge is a program designed to make sending personilzed email to many recipients at once. The process to do this is as simple as creating your own datasource from a simple text file or database input and then defining which parts of the email you wish to link to this datasource.

Several different types of data source are available to GWmerge users from a simple text file up to a database source. The information in the datasource will be displayed as GWmerge understands it at the bottom of the datasource selection screen.

In order to generate an email with different content for every unique email address, variables must be defined. These variables are defined with special characters within the email selection screen.

The special Identifiers specified in the text of your email must be linked in some way with the fields listed in your data source. The Linking Fields screen will allow the linking of these special identifiers and fields using a drag and drop method.

Before sending out an email with a large number of recipients you may want to send a sample of these emails in order to view the result. This is possible via the Send Trial screen.

The final screen will display the processes that gwmerge performs while sending to your email list.
