GroupWise PDA Access System Requirements
There are no server requirements for Omni Messenger because it communicates directly with your existing GroupWise Messenger server running on Novell NetWare, Open Enterprise Server, Linux or Microsoft Windows.
PDA Requirements
- Version 1.4.0 of Omni Messenger for GroupWise PDA Access supports all touchscreen PocketPC or Windows Mobile PDA and PDA Smart Phones with an Over-the-Air communication method (WiFi, GPRS, GSM, CDMA / 1XRTT, Bluetooth, iDen, Infrared or other).
- Version 1.4.0 supports Windows Mobile 5 Palm Treo 700w, iPAQ 6515 and other 240 x 240 resolution devices.
- Wi-Fi or Wireless connectivity is required for mobile access.
Server Requirements
- The GroupWise Messenger Agent IP address and port must be available to communicate with the Omni Messenger client. This is the same requirement required to allow a GroupWise Messenger desktop client to communicate to your GroupWise Messenger server.
- Omni Messenger for GroupWise PDA access supports all wireless protocols including: GPRS, GSM, CDMA/1XRTT, IDen, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 and Infrared.
SSL Requirements
