System Requirements
Server Operating Systems
Enterprise Management Utility (EMU) is compatible with the following products:
- GroupWise 6x, 7x, and 8.x (running on OES2 or NetWare NSS volumes)
- NetMail 3.x
- all versions of Novell eDirectory
- all versions of Novell Directory Services (NDS)
EMU is compatible with GroupWise, Novell eDirectory/NDS and NetMail installed on the following server platforms:
- Novell OES (requires NSS volumes for GroupWise and Home Directory Management
- Novell NetWare (all versions)
- SUSE Linux
- Microsoft Windows (no home directory or GroupWise Management)
If you require bulk creation and account management of GroupWise accounts installed on systems that have non-Novell NSS volumes (Windows, OES2 or Linux)

Server hardware requirements:
- There are no server hardware requirements. EMU is a workstation application. There are no server NLMs or eDirectory extensions to install or configure.
Server access rights, trustee assignments and permissions:
- The administrator using EMU must have appropriate eDirectory, GroupWise and NetMail rights and trustee assignments, and applicable file system rights/permissions on the host server.
