Omni Mobile delivers GroupWise mobile access for Palm, Pocket PC and Sony Ericsson PDAs and PDA Smartphones, such as:

First-run Wizard

The first time you login to Omni Mobile, enter your WebAccess server address, your GroupWise login and password.

Initializing Omni Mobile

Omni Mobile runs the over-the-air Account Create wizard to install and initialize the user account and download the user data.



Main View

The Main view provides the familiar GroupWise look and feel interface. This results in quick user adoption and reduced training costs.

New Inbox

Your Mailbox shows read and unread email by day, and uses the attachement icon to indicate emails with attachments.



Calendar Month View

For each day of the Month view, Omni Mobile shows the number of appointments in blue, tasks in green and notes in red.



Calendar Day View

The Day view shows Appointments, Tasks and Notes. Tasks and notes can be edited and updated from your PDA.



Email Attachments

Omni Mobile supports multiple attachment types, including .doc, .pdf, .xls, .ppt, .jpg file types.



Attachment View

Your PDA's local application is used to open or view attachments.



WebAccess - Policy and Folder Synchronization

The following screenshot shows the folder selection and configuration options. Administrators can enable or disable mobile GroupWise accounts. Users select the Omni Mobile tab or icon in WebAccess to configure their email, folders, calendar and address book synchronization options.


 

 

WebAccess - License Configuration

The following screenshot shows the information contained within the license that has been applied to the Omni Mobile installation.  This screen is only available to the Omni Mobile Administrator User.

 

WebAccess - GroupWise Address Book Synchronization

The following screenshot shows the addressbook configuration screen.  Users can select which Addressbook get synchronized from their account and at which frequency they are synchronized.  It is possible to make an addressbook your 'prefered' addressbook for Omni Mobile.  The selected addressbook with then be the default addressbook that appears when you open the addressbook in the Omni Mobile client.
