Omni Announces Public Beta of GroupWise Messenger for Palm Treo 650 and Other Palm Wireless Devices
Public Beta for GroupWise Messenger on Palm Treo 650 and other Palm wireless devices is now available
SAN FRANCISCO, US—September 29, 2005—At the annual CTIA Wireless conference earlier today, Omni announced the availability of the public beta of Omni Messenger on Palm Treo 650, Treo 600 and other Palm wireless devices. This follows closely on last week’s release of Omni Messenger Version 1.0 for Pocket PC devices. Omni Messenger is compatible with GroupWise 6.x and 7.
Omni Messenger provides a native mobile client for GroupWise Messenger; SSL encryption of all communication; and unlimited contacts, folders and conversations. There are no server configuration changes required.
