Omni Announces SageCRM Integration for Novell GroupWise
Riva CRM Integration from Omni delivers on the growing need to integrate SageCRM® and other leading CRM solutions with Novell® GroupWise®.
Edmonton, AB – September 2, 2008 – Omni Technology Solutions today announced the addition of SageCRM to the growing list of CRMs supported by its Riva™ CRM Integration platform for Novell GroupWise. More than a simple Windows client plug-in, Riva CRM Integration delivers transparent, server-side, bi-directional synchronisation of appointments, phone calls, tasks and address books between SageCRM (on-demand and on-premise) and GroupWise. Advanced integration features enable users to access CRM opportunities, quotes and cases directly from any GroupWise client – web, desktop or mobile device.

- End-to-end integration: Riva serves as a bridge between SageCRM and all GroupWise clients (Linux®, Macintosh®, Windows®, WebAccess®, Evolution™, IMAP®, Outlook®, GroupWise® Mobile Server and BlackBerry® Enterprise Server devices). Given SageCRM's out-of-the-box integration with Sage ERP systems, Riva creates an opportunity to synchronise Sage ERP data to GroupWise.
- Server-side, bi-directional synchronisation: Riva checks for GroupWise and SageCRM updates via SSL-encrypted, SOAP communication. When users create or modify tasks, appointments, accounts and contacts, the appropriate changes are made on the destination system automatically.
- SmartConvert Drop Folders™: Users can copy GroupWise email into the Riva SmartConvert Drop Folders to directly create CRM opportunities, quotes and cases (support incidents) from GroupWise. The associated account(s) and contact(s) get created automatically. GroupWise email can also be archived to a CRM account using this strategy.
