A GroupWise First – Integrate eDirectory Values into GroupWise Signatures

Do you need to standardise your GroupWise signatures by adding eDirectory values? Omni's new Managed Signatures module, powered by Riva, allows you to standardise corporate email signatures, include a custom Disclaimer message to comply with privacy regulations and provide local language signatures. Read more about how the Managed Signatures module works and see what a sample signature would look like here:

Health Care Provider Chooses Multi-station SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktops

Homewood Health Centre wanted to provide computer access for patients in its library. Rather than going with costly Windows desktops, they were intrigued by the Multiplied SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop strategy. Using this strategy, they deployed 4-user Multiplied SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktops and reduced their hardware, management and electricity costs.

K-12 School Uses EMU to Create and Bulk Modify Novell Home Directories for Mac OS X Users

EMU continues to delight K-12 and higher education customers that need to bulk create, import, modify and manage their student accounts. Recently, Savannah Country Day School was faced with the challenge of creating and bulk modifying extended eDirectory schema values to create Apple home directories on our NetWare servers. Once again, EMU exceeded their expectations!

Novell and Omni Present Business Case for Linux Desktop in Government at GTEC 2007 on October 16th

Novell and Omni will present the Multiplied SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop Strategy at a national conference for leaders in government this October. Multiplied SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktops provide a compelling way for governments to bridge the digital divide among their citizens, to improve computer-to-student ratios in schools, to maximise fixed information technology budgets, to reduce electricity consumption and to decrease the amount of digital waste in landfills. (GTEC 2007, Ottawa: Tuesday, October 16, 1:00-1:45 p.m.)
