GWAVA and Omni Announce GroupWise Solution Alliance
GEE Whiz to become part of the GWAVA family of GroupWise security products.
MONTREAL, QUEBEC — March 8, 2005 — GWAVA and Omni today announced an alignment of their products to offer the global GroupWise community focused solutions. The two companies will work together to distribute and market their complementary products to the Novell GroupWise market.
To better serve their GroupWise customers and to eliminate duplication of development and support, GEE Whiz is now part of the GWAVA family of GroupWise security products. GEE Whiz will be available outside North America through GWAVA Authorized Partners (GAPs). GWAVA will provide global support for GEE Whiz. Omni will continue to provide sales for GEE Whiz in North America. Omni’s eControl, Omni Mobile, EMU, CCUWeb, and other products will be available through GAPs outside North America. This realignment allows both companies to focus their core strengths on meeting the needs of GroupWise IT managers.
