Omni Expands UK and EMEA Presence - Now Speaks German, Dutch, Polish, Spanish, English and French!


Omni launches European office and local language support for eControl Simplified Management in six languages with presentation events in Oxford, Berlin and Munich.

EDMONTON, CANADA, Oxford, Berlin, Munich, — October 1 2009 — Canadian software development company, Omni Technology Solutions, Inc. (Omni) (www.omni-ts.com), announced the multi-language release of eControl Simplified Management and the establishment of its German office to support its UK and EMEA expansion.

"The UK and EMEA markets will continue to play a strong role in helping Omni achieve our global growth objectives," said Aldo Zanoni, CEO and Managing Director of Omni Technology Solutions Inc. "To support our UK and EMEA expansion initiatives, we have chosen to open our branch office in Munich, Germany," continued Zanoni. "With this new release of eControl, Omni has enhanced our flagship product to be better able to satify local language expectations. Customers use eControl to delegate user account management and provisioning to non-technical staff. And because many non-technical people are not comfortable working with an English-language interface, we were being told by European customers how important it was to provide eControl in the local languages. Omni listened and responded. eControl now provides localisation for our top EMEA markets: Germany, Poland, The Netherlands, Spain and France. Next on our list is to add support for Swedish, Norwegian and Danish."

First introduced in 2003, eControl delivers simplified management, provisioning and user self-service for enterprise deployments of Novell eDirectory and GroupWise and Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange in pure, mixed and multiple environments. eControl replaces complex engineering-oriented management tools (MMC, Task Pads, Novell ConsoleOne, iManager and others) that require supervisor rights and administrator permissions with a "ZERO-Rights" browser interface. eControl allows IT staff to delegate routine account management, provisioning and user self-service tasks to non-technical, clerical staff. With the addition of multiple language support and the enhanced support for Novell ZENworks, GroupWise proxy access and GroupWise signature management, eControl continues to evolve based on customer requests.

Omni has also announced availability of Riva Advanced Integration Server for Microsoft Exchange in the UK and EMEA markets.

"Many of our Riva customers work in environments where they support GroupWise and Exchange. These customers wanted to be able to use the same CRM integration solution for both platforms. Customers who saw the value of Riva's server-side, advanced synchronisation, integration and interoperability for GroupWise asked us to add support for Microsoft Exchange," explains Zanoni. "As a customer-focused software development company, we responded and are now able to provide advanced synchronisation for both Novell GroupWise and Microsoft Exchange." Riva delivers the first out-of-the-box, multi-platform, multi-crm, server-side integration for GroupWise and Microsoft Exchange and Salesforce, SugarCRM, Oracle CRM On Demand, SageCRM, Sage Saleslogix, NetSuite, GoldMine, Info@hand, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM and NAV.

There are no plug-ins to install on mobile devices or client computers. By leveraging server-side processes, Riva goes beyond the traditional synchronisation of information between Exchange and the CRMs. Riva delivers integration of CRM information into the native Outlook email client and provides automated advanced interoperability between Exchange and the CRMs.
